With its worldwide network of well known Admiralty distributors, wide range of complementary navigational products, and renowned Admiralty brand, the UK Hydrographic Office will help to ensure the wide availability of the IC-ENC database of ENCs.
In the short term, this early appointment will also provide continuity in the supply of ENCs following the closure of Primar in July 2002 since the UK Hydrographic Office has agreed to honour any outstanding Primar licences without charge.
IC-ENC is also presently in discussions with several other companies interested in becoming VARs, and it is hoped that IC-ENC will shortly be in a position to offer the mariner an even wider choice of ENC services.
