We are delighted to announce the appointment of Maritime Information Systems AS (MARIS) as a Value Added Reseller of IC-ENC.
Located in Tønsberg, Norway, MARIS is a leading manufacturer of ECDIS, Radar and VDR systems. In 2006, MARIS took part in the “Danish Pilot Project”, where pilots could securely download ENC and RNC updates and permits via the internet to their laptop based display system.
MARIS has expanded this service to create its new “Maritime Digital Service” (MDS) which allows customers to manage their suite of navigational information dynamically online.
The service also provides a range of integrated tools, all with a graphical interface, which help with route and voyage planning, optimising folios of charts suited for the route, and tailored updates suited to the folio of charts being used.
