Dates and timeframe: The secondment will take place across 2 weeks from Monday 20 April - Friday 1 May 2026
Purpose of secondment:
To share IHM knowledge and experience in cartographic data validation, compilation and S-101 production.
Desired outcomes / benefits: This secondment will equip the secondee with the skills and knowledge needed to independently produce their own S‑101 products
Structure: Secondee will sit within Hydrography-Cartography room with Hydrography-Cartography staff.
Secondee requirements:
Fluent in Spanish
Knowledge about processing data with CARIS, HPD and various software required
Pre-work: An MS Teams call will be arranged with the successful secondee before planning begins.
Follow up work:
Online support for the secondee if implementing new methods in their home office
The secondee is to provide a journal/article to IC-ENC sharing their experience. Secondee to share their learnings at IC-ENC Technical Conference or Steering Committee (if appropriate). Any relevant information to be shared with Members via the IC-ENC LMS
