Dates and timeframe: The secondment will take place across 5 days from Monday 11 May - Friday 15 May 2026
Purpose of secondment:
To share DHN’s knowledge and experience in chart compilation and implementation of S-101 production
Feedback on our S-101 strengths and weaknesses approach
Desired outcomes / benefits:
Will help the secondee produce their own S-101 products
Supports identifying better ways of working and improving personal workflows
Structure:
The secondee will be with the New Edition team. They will be working on S-101 ENC production
Attend meetings with the members of the internal S-101 team
Experiment with the S-101 tooling, possibly using your own data
Secondee requirements:
At least two years’ experience in S-57 ENC production
High knowledge about CARIS HPD Suite tools
Pre-work: One online advisory meeting (1 hour, one week before the secondment)
Follow up work:
Online support if the secondee is implementing new methods in their home office.
Secondee to provide a journal/article to IC-ENC sharing their experience. Secondee to share their learnings at IC-ENC Technical Conference or Steering Committee (if appropriate). Any relevant information to be shared with Members via the IC-ENC LMS.
