Our Regional Office concept promotes consistency, efficiency and partnership within the region, and fits neatly into the WEND concept. IC-ENC encourages the development of regional offices, and provides support and training as required.

UK
UK Hydrographic Office, Taunton, UK.
IC-ENC HQ is our main office and is located on site at the UK Hydrographic office in Taunton, United Kingdom. IC-ENC HQ is operated by a team of 20 staff, which are split into a management team of eight a validation team of eight and one assistant.

Australia
Australian Hydrographic Office, Wollongong, Australia.
IC-ENC Australia was set up in 2005, and is hosted by the Australian Hydrographic Office (AHO). The office is in Wollongong, New South Wales, and is operated by one full time validator who provides focused support to Australia, Solomon Islands and New Zealand.

Latin America
Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation, Niterói, Brazil.
IC-ENC Latin America was established in 2016 in partnership with the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation (DHN), and is located at DHN in Niteroi, Brazil. The office is operated by three full time validators, who support 12 IC-ENC members with the validation of their ENCs.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Washington DC, USA.
IC-ENC North America was established in 2016 in partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and is located in Washington, USA. The office is operated by three full time validators, who provide support mainly to NOAA.
