Technical Conference

The Technical Conference was established in 2015 and is a subordinate body of the IC-ENC Steering Committee. It provides a forum for reviewing and enhancing all technical aspects of the creation, content, quality control and application of the ENC data produced by the IC-ENC members, with the ultimate aim of achieving greater consistency in the quality and content of members’ ENCs. We also encourage IC-ENC members to share their own experiences of ENC production. In addition, it is recognised that a group of this size, working in unison, can be a useful and powerful lobbying voice in areas such as technical standards development.

Technical Conferences have been held on an annual basis since 2016, but have now started to move towards shorter one day events spread throughout the year to enable more frequent progress updates to members. The success of these events falls heavily on the active participation of the delegates and IC-ENC Technical Team tasked with delivering each event.
